Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

HI! ALDI here! Just a quick reminder that I'm still looking for a home! I am a young adult who was found stray. Volunteers here say they can't believe no one came to reclaim me bc I'm so pretty, affectionate, and I just love humans! I've been here a while so let me tell you a little more about myself. I am very house trained. I know to go outside to potty or to let you know when I have to go potty. I am a great navigator when we go for rides in the car. I am also quite
a player. I love to run around, I love to chase tennis balls, and I love being active and moving around, that's why it's been difficult for me living in a shelter cage! I get frustrated and sometimes I bark and am not so nice to the other dogs in the other cages. But I'm letting everyone know I am not dog aggressive! I prefer the term dog selective. I do like to play with certain other dogs but if a dog is not nice to me, I will most likely not be nice to them. I play rough though! I am showing everyone I seem to absolutely love the big boys who let me play rough with them! I also can take what I give out to them no problem! I am an alpha girl though so the boys are my favorite so far. I am good on a leash but if we pass other doggies, I will pull towards the other dog and I will stop and stare intensely at them. Many times other dogs just don't get me bc although I am super duper smart and know lots of commands even agility I learned so quickly, I don't have the best of manners when meeting other dogs.  I am looking for a new home where my mom and/or dad will be able to handle me, hold me bc I am a very strong girl! My new owner should provide me with daily activity, walks, jogs, anything to help wear me out physically and also some training to help me learn new things! I like to keep my mind working, you know! I will try to catch squirrels and little birds so again, my new human should be well prepared to hold me while I pull like a freight train to get to the squirrels and birds. I was cat tested and did pretty well but it was with a dog savvy cat who did not run away from me..so I did not chase however a cat who does run away from me? Well, I call all bets off so if may be best I don't go home with a cat or other small animal. If you have a big, and I'll say it, dopey boy dog who loves to wrestle and roll around and play, and are looking for a playmate for him, come on out and meet me!
